जिल्हाधिकारी जलज शर्मा व जिल्हा परिषदेच्या मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी बुवनेश्वरी एस. यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली धुळे जिल्ह्यात बाल विवाह निर्मूलन जनजागृती करण्यात येत आहे. त्यास प्रतिसाद म्हणून अनेक नागरीक स्वत:हून पुढे येऊन बाल विवाहाबाबत प्रशासनास माहिती देत आहे.

निजामपुर पोलीस स्टेशनचे पोलीस निरीक्षक हनुमंत गायकवाड यांनी वेहेरगाव येथील प्रकरणात तात्काळ दखल घेऊन पोलीस कॉस्टेबल रतन मोरे यांचेसोबत या कार्यालयाच्या टिमने वेहेरगाव येथे भेट देऊन कार्यवाही करण्यात आली.

दुसऱ्या प्रकरणात नागसेन नगर, देवपूर, धुळे येथे बालविवाह होत असल्याची तक्रार देवपूर पोलीस स्टेशन येथे प्राप्त झाली होती. त्यानुसार एम. डी. निकम, पोलीस निरीक्षक, देवपुर पोलीस स्टेशन, धुळे यांनी या प्रकरणात तात्काळ दखल घेऊन जिल्हा बाल संरक्षण कक्षातील सौ. तृप्ती पाटील, संरक्षण अधिकारी (संस्थात्मक) धुळे शहरातील देवपूर पोलीस स्टेशनचे सागर थाटसिंगार, सुनिल गवळे, रोहिदास अहिरे, एस. एस. पाटील, दिलीप वाघ, बी. वाय. नागमल, ए.व्ही. जगताप यांच्या सहकार्याने बालविवाह रोखण्याची कार्यवाही करण्यात आली.

संबंधित बालविवाह होणाऱ्या ठिकाणी बालक व बालिका यांचा जन्मपुरावा तपासणी करुन बालिका 18 वर्षाखाली असल्याचे खात्री पटविल्यानंतर लगेच लग्न घरी वर पक्ष व वधु पक्ष यांना एकत्र बसवुन बाल विवाह बाबतचे दुष्परिणाम व बाल विवाह प्रतिबंध अधिनियम 2006 नुसार होणारी कार्यवाही याबाबत उपस्थित सर्वांना माहिती देण्यात आली
After checking the birth certificate of the child and the girl at the place where the child marriage takes place and confirming that the girl is under 18 years of age, the groom and the bride were seated together at the wedding house and informed about the consequences of child marriage and the action to be taken according to the Prevention of Child Marriage Act, 2006.
व संबंधितांना बाल कल्याण समिती, धुळे यांचेसमोर उपस्थित करुन मुलीच्या वडीलांकडून मुलीचे १८ वर्ष वय पुर्ण होईपर्यंत बालिकेचा विवाह करणार नाही असे हमीपत्र लिहून घेतले व बालिकेचे समुपदेशन करण्यात आले.

या तिन्ही ठिकाणच्या बालविवाह रोखण्याची कार्यवाही जिल्हाधिकारी जलज शर्मा व मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी बुवनेश्वरी एस., जिल्हा महिला व बाल विकास अधिकारी सचिन शिंदे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली व एम. टी निकम, पोलीस निरीक्षक, देवपुर पो स्टे, धुळे व हनुमंत गायकवाड, पोलीस निरीक्षक, निजामपुर, ता. साक्री यांच्या तात्काळ कार्यवाहीमुळे तसेच राकेश नेरकर, सतिश चव्हाण यांनी समन्वय साधुन सौ. तृप्ती पाटील, देवेंद्र मोहन, ज्ञानेश्वर पाटील, देवपुर पोलीस स्टेशनचे आणि निजामपूर पोलीस स्टेशनचे पोलीस कर्मचारी तसेच वेहेरगाव येथील सरपंच, ग्रामसेवक, पोलीस पाटील यांच्या सहकार्याने वेहेरगाव येथील 2, शहरातील 1 आणि मालपुर येथील 1 असे एकुण 4 अल्पवयीन मुलींचे बालविवाह रोखण्यात प्रशासनास यश आले आहे. असेही श्री. शिंदे यांनी प्रसिध्दी पत्रकात म्हटले आहे.
